Fast Solution to Error: A Policy change has me locked out of XP.

A Policy change has me locked out of XP.

I was trying to set up a home sharing network for my new W 7 computer, and when I changed the domain on the older XP machine, it locked me out, now it won't recognize my password or login.  I gained access through the Admin account, and it says there was
a policy change at the time I got locked out.  How do I restore the XP machine so I can retrieve my contact information?
