Are there Windows 7 drivers for an Adaptec 2940U SCSI card?

Are there Windows 7 drivers for an Adaptec 2940U SCSI card?

Campus IT changes required upgrades from XP to Windows 7 32 bit.

System was running an Adaptec 2940U SCSI card just fine in XP.  (It connects to a Minolta micro scanner).  After the upgrade I cannot find drivers that will install.

I ran the Windows compatibility checker prior to the upgrade in order to prepare for any issues.  Checker found no issues.

I downloaded the drivers provided by
Adaptec.  The drivers indicate they are for Windows 7, but they will not install.  I get an error that says "Incompatible OS."

Is there a special procedure to follow when installing these drivers?  Are there other drivers that I should use?

Thanks in advance for the help.
