This has suddenly appeared .
( Recently purchased I phone and set up by my family could have prompted)
  Anyway-"Main Identity is the only identity on Login screen.
I require password to manage identities.
Can I by- pass?Does it mean a first time  journey into the bowels of the Registry?or can I avoid this.

If you did an Advanced search for *.dbx, then the files should have shown up.   At least the one's for the new Identity should have.  The path to the dbx files is listed in the registry under this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\GUID\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express
The key name is "Store Root" and the value of it will be the location of the message store for each Identity, where the Identity number is the GUID above.  You can look for the path to each Identity then and you should be able to find the dbx files.  If
you do, you might as well copy them to a know location such as the Desktop or a subdirectory of the Desktop and then you can use File | Import | Messages to get them imported from that location.
